At Bodthentic we are dedicated to providing the highest quality products and keeping our butters 100% free of harmful synthetic chemicals. We do not use preservatives, synthetic stabilizers and we do not formulate our whipped body butters with any other chemicals that aid with thickening.

As a result, our delicate products are sensitive to temperature changes. We are located in Georgia where temperatures can get as high as 90 degrees or more. During warmer weather, products may soften or even melt in transit or while sitting in mailboxes. Its very important that they're retrieved immediately and that packages are tracked closely. We always use protective packaging so most products do make it to their destination safely. Unfortunately, melting is a normal reaction to heat and we have no control over the weather conditions during transit or delivery. Melting does not ruin the integrity of our products or decrease any benefits, however the consistency will change. 

If melting occurs products can be placed in the refrigerator then whipped again. We recommend refrigerating first before opening to avoid spills and messiness. Because our products are whipped, once they melt the air bubbles will collapse causing the volume to decrease although each jar is filled to the top initially. However we are doing our best to aid with this issue. During hot weather we do our best to protect our products from melting in transit. 

• We inspect every product before it is packed for shipping ensuring no issues and everything is sealed. (upon arrival you will notice jars are taped shut)
• We ship our products with ice packs and styrofoam when products have a longer journey to travel 
• We wrap our products in bubble wrap and other padding to add extra layers of insulation

As a result, most products shipped in warm weather arrive without melting. But please understand, there is no way that we can ship products and completely control the high heat temperatures of summer, trucks, and mailboxes.
